Engines Comments: FOD and Overtemp resulting from bird ingestion. Many blades damaged on left engine fan. Unknown damage to compressor or core (if any.) Overtemp occurred as well. Engine times and SN may be reversed, but numbers are correct.

Description of Accident: During take-off, the left and right engines ingested small birds. Both engines over-temp'd. No other damages noted. Aircraft returned to land safely.
Description of Damage: Engine FOD and potential overtemp damages. Engines will need to be torn down and inspected. At least 25 fan blades will need rework or replacement.
LogBooks Comment: With aircraft.
Remarks: Inspection of salvage is highly recommended. Aircraft shown by appointment only. Inspection Notes: Clean due list - “Z Inspection completed Dec 2009. “2C” Inspection completed Dec 2006. Inquiries about the condition of the salvage should be directed to the Adjuster Contact noted above.
