Engines Comments: Engine overhauled by Penn Yan Aero 5/16/03. Logs show installed on N51231 7/3/07. Engine log book stamped as being in an incident/accident in Aircraft N65630 rendering the aircraft a total loss.
Equipment Comments: northstar m1 loran-c, 300 ADF, 300 xpdr,
Description of Accident: Aircraft was involved in a hard landing causing the nose tire to blow out and the prop to strike the pavement. The firewall buckled in the incident.
Description of Damage: Damge includes, but not limited to, propeller, engine, firewall, nose gear fork, nose wheel.
LogBooks Comment: Airframe logbook dates back to 1988. It has a gap from 1994 to 2007. Engine log book stamped as being in an incident/accident in Aircraft N65630 rendering the aircraft a total loss. Engine log dates back to 1989.
