Engines Comments: According to logbooks, engine 1 was rebuilt/zero timed on 10/27/97 by Teledyne Continental Motors & engine 2 was rebuilt/zero timed on 3/24/94 by Teledyne Continental Motors.
Equipment Comments: PS Engineering PMA 7000M, Avidyne FlightMax EX 500, Garmin GNS 430, King KY 196, King KN 53, King KT 76, 3M WX-10
Description of Accident: Aircraft sustained nose gear collapse on take off just prior to rotation. Both propellers struck the concrete runway and stopped and aircraft came to rest in grass.
Description of Damage: Damage includes, but is not limited to, nose gear, nose, radome, LH & RH propellers, LH & RH engines
LogBooks Comment: Airframe logbooks date back to 1980, RH prop log dates back to 1990, LH dates back to 1985. Engine logs date back to dates of rebuild…see engine comments above.
Remarks: CONTACT JEFF ONLY TO MAKE INSPECTION APPOINTMENTS. AIRCRAFT IS PARTIALLY DISASSEMBLED. INSPECTION OF THIS AIRCRAFT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE SALVAGE SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE ADJUSTER CONTACT NOTED ABOVE.
