Equipment Comments: This aircraft is equipped with a PS Engineering PMA 7000H; Garmin GNS530; King KX 165; Garmin GTX 330; HSI; Engine Trend Monitor; Radar Altitude; and cabin air conditioning.
Description of Accident: The pilot executed the take off with the helicopter still attached to the ground power unit resulting a very hard, tail low landing.
Description of Damage: The damage is severe to virtually every surface of the helicopter with the exception of the windows. Damage includes the GPU nose connector/outlet; main rotor blades; tail rotor blades; tail boom; drive shaft; all vertical stabilizers; bottom fuselage; and the skids all of which were destroyed. The aircraft is powered by a RR 250-30P which sustained a sudden stoppage with the main and tail rotor strikes.
LogBooks Comment: Logbooks are with the salvage.
Remarks: Inspection of salvage is highly recommended.
